About Jennifer Ford

Jennifer’s first experience was in a hot power yoga studio. In the middle of class she literally left and laid on the cold bathroom floor to reset and cool down. After a minute she got back in the studio and finished the class, her life completely changed after that.

She has been teaching since 2014. Which has lead her to some amazing experiences. In 2016 she lived in Costa Rica, teaching at Amatierra Yoga Retreat Center, where she taught Hatha (gentle yoga). In her return she has been active at high schools and middle schools teaching yoga and leading young adults through meditation and mindfulness workshops. As well as providing yoga for charities and non profit organizations and such as Connecticut Junior League, Little Guild Animal shelter as well as a local women’s recovery group. She has taught yoga, meditation and taught a Trauma Release exercise  at two drug and alcohol abuse treatment centers over the past three years helping people connect back to their best self. She is level three reiki certified, going on for her masters.
She plans to continue using yoga and meditation as a catalyst to help people, and hopes to continue with her passion to work with local charities and non profits. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature going on adventures. Seeing live music. And loves spending time with her two children fur sons George, (a golden retriever) and  Benny Boing Boing (mini lop bunny).
