LODGE USE 2020-2021: Due to Covid19 restrictions and CT Ski Guidelines, the allowed uses of Mohawk Mountain’s Base Lodge have changed. CAPACITY IS LIMITED. USE IS LIMITED.  Please read and respect what we must do. Help make this a long, successful winter.

ALLOWED BASE LODGE USE : Warming  – 15 Minute Limit | Use of Rest Rooms – 15 Minute Limit | Eating – Food Prepared Onsite ONLY – 30 Minute Limit | Stay too long? You’ll be asked to leave. Go Outside. Enjoy the Mountain.

NO LONGER ALLOWED: MOVING TABLES |  Putting on Gear or Boots, Changing Clothing, please arrive ready to ski | Leaving Unattended Belongings, use bag check or your vehicle *Items in Bag-Check will be sanitized.  Leave at your own risk. | Lingering or Saving Table Space | Eating Food brought from home or elsewhere

The CT Ski Areas Association, which includes all 4 ski resorts in CT, has put together a unified COVID-19 plan.   This plan, guided by the NSAA (National Ski Areas Association) “Ski Well, Be Well – Ski Area Operating Best Practices” program and the recommendations provided by the state of CT, comprises our CTSAA COVID-19 policy.  Our policy consists of a COVID-19 Responsibility Code and COVID-19 Operational Guidelines. Our COVID-19 Responsibility Code has rules that many of you are already following in your daily lives.  We have adapted the following in order to actively mitigate the spread of coronavirus. You are asked to follow all of these rules diligently in order to sustain a healthy atmosphere in this unique environment. It’s important that we all respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions.

We ask that you be patient and courteous with our staff and others around you as we work towards our shared ultimate goal– to get you on the slopes!  Please abide by our COVID-19 responsibility code:  In addition to this COVID-19 Responsibility Code, we have implemented many changes to our operation this season.  Policies and procedures may change with new mandates and science.  We will keep you updated through signage, emails, social media and our website.

ONLINE ORDERING– In order to ensure availability, we strongly recommend you plan ahead and use this service.  This is nothing new to us, we’re pros!  SNOWTRAX, our online ordering system has been in operation for over 10 years and is now better than ever!  All tickets, lessons and rentals will be available for purchase on our website by calendar day.  *Passholders are not restricted at this time.

BUILDINGS – Our reduced capacity is based upon current State of CT mandates.   We have made changes in the lodge to allow as much seating as possible and for one-way traffic in the restrooms.  Reduced seating will be available for meals which can be purchased via our new online ordering systems.   Once your order is ready you will get a notification for pick up a designated window. Our guests should not linger at tables once they have finished eating.

CLEANING– We have additional cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting protocols to ensure the cleanliness of all areas.  Deep cleaning will occur overnight and during closed hours.

LIFTS – If you arrive together, please use the lift together.  We will accommodate those who prefer to use the lift alone.

TUBING– The same protocols apply for Snow Tubing and for any Perch based activities.  Look for new tubing guidelines soon.

UPHILLING– subject to capacity, we will allow uphillers ONLY if they are planning to ski down.  The Uphill path is no longer a two-way path.  Snowshoers, hikers, runners and the like will not be allowed access.

VEHICLES – This season your vehicle is the best place to get ready for your day on the slopes, wait for family members or take a break.  Be aware of those near you and allow for social distancing.   You may enter the lodge if there are available seats for eating a purchased meal, using restrooms, visiting the retail store or picking up your rentals.   Belongings should be stored in your vehicle.  Complimentary bag check is available when necessary, no unattended bags in any location is allowed.

Please note: To allow for expanded cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, we have modified our operating hours for the season as follows:

    Monday: Lifts operate 12pm-8pm
Tuesday-Thursday: Lifts operate from 10 am to 8:00 pm.
Friday: Lifts operate from 10 am until 10 pm.
Saturday, Holidays: Lifts operate from 8:30 am until 10 pm.
Sunday: Lifts operate from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.
M-F The Main Lodge opens ½ hour prior for your convenience.
Sat & Sun The Main Lodge opens 1 hour prior for your convenience.
