Pine Lodge Restaurant on Mohawk Mountain
In the beginning, Pine Lodge served dual purposes. It was the original lodge for Mohawk Mountain, a rustic, cozy building, where our first customers – all skiers in 1953– could sip a warm drink and eat some hearty fare. Pine Lodge was also the home, at that time, of the young Schoenknecht family – Walt, Peg, and their tiny daughter, Carol.
65 + years later, Pine Lodge Restaurant is still the place to sip warm drinks, eat hearty and delicious fare, and feel like you’ve come home.
Located part way up the mountain on the Pine Trail, Pine Lodge Restaurant is a ski-in, ski-out full service restaurant. While a lot of the original charm is evident, Pine Lodge had to be extensively renovated after the tornado struck in 1989. Enjoy the rustic interior – open beams, hewn from local trees, and one entire wall a natural stone fireplace – or eat outside on our wind-protected stone patio, also accented with a roaring fire. Enjoy the friendly service of our wait staff, as you choose from a variety of menu favorites and Pine Lodge specialties, including creamy lobster bisque, savory rib-eye sandwiches and grilled paninis.
Pine Lodge operates seasonally, and is open Thursday from 3:00-7:00 p.m., Friday from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We accept MC/VISA/DISC/AMEX and Mohawk Money.
