Mountain Division is an action-packed 7 week program dedicated to developing and improving the skills of skiers, age 6 through 13 years (Birth Years 2008-2015). Mountain Division participants simply love to ski, wish to improve their all-mountain skiing, and look forward to seeing their buddies from their squad every week on the snow. All Mountain Division participants will participate in the Mountain Division Skills Festival on the last weekend of the program. The Skills Festival gives participants the opportunity to showcase some of the many skiing skills they have been working on throughout the season. The Skills Festival has replaced the Mountain Division Race. For those who would like to spend time in race courses and competing in races, please consider the DSquad or Interclub programs.

Mountain Division is fun! Squads gather together for s’mores on the deck, challenge each other in contests, and display their unique Mountain Division swag with honor! Squads average 7-8 members of similar ages and abilities, and are led by the same squad leader from week to week. Session start times will be at 9:00 a.m. for the Saturday and Sunday program, 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. for the Saturday only program and 9:30 a.m. for the Sunday only option. Lunch is included for the all day options (Saturday & Sunday Program and Saturday only program) and last for 30 minutes, supervised by program coaches in one of our lodges. Lunch is not included in the Sunday only option. Session start and end time will remain the same from week to week.

Program participants will spend their half hour lunch break in one of our lodges with their program instructors and peers. A lunch will be provided for each Mountain Division participant and items will change for each session. A sample of lunch items are sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh fruit, side salads, cookies, brownies, popcorn, chips, bottled water, juice boxes, milk and chocolate milk. Any participants with food allergies should reach out to our Snowsports Director, Andy Raybould before the program commences.
