JUNIOR RACING PROGRAM
Our Junior Racing Program is open to boys and girl’s (6) six to (14) fourteen years of age that are experienced skiers and would like to participate in a structured race training and racing program. Unless a race is scheduled elsewhere, training takes place mid December through mid February each Saturday and Sundays from 9 AM to 2PM each day with a break for lunch. Most races are held on Sundays at the other ski areas around the state. During the season the racers will be competing as a team, as well as individual standings for their classes. At the end of the season some of the racers will have the opportunity to qualify for additional post-season races or even the Junior Olympics.

The Age Classification is as follows as of Dec. 31 2010.

Class III: 13 to 14 years old
Class IV: 11 to 12 years old
Class V: 6 to 10 years old

Tiger Program for Skiing and Arctic Cats Program for Snowboarding!

The Tiger Program is a pre paid, pre scheduled development program designed for children (6) six to (12) twelve years of age. The program runs consecutively every Saturday & Sunday starting the first weekend in January and ending the first weekend in March from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day with a break for lunch. The children must be capable of making controlled linked turns and can ride the chair lifts unassisted. During the program your child will have training to improve his or her skiing skills as well as an opportunity to ski in race gates. At the end of the program they will be able to participate in a special Tiger race held at the Mountain. Upon complication of the season the coaches will advice you of your child progress and promote them, if they qualify to the race team. For more information about Tigers click here!

The Arctic Cat Program is a pre paid, pre scheduled development program designed for children (8) eight to (12) twelve years of age. The program runs consecutively every Saturday & Sunday starting the first weekend in January and ending the first weekend in March from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day with a break for lunch. The children must be capable of making controlled linked turns and can ride the chair lifts unassisted. During the program your child will have training to improve his or her riding skills.
