(Tuesdays and Thursdays Snowhawks session 10:00 to 12:00 start in January through March. Come have the same great children’s program with less crowds.)

Snowhawks is a super fun program for children ages (5) five to (9) nine years old. This program begins the weekend of Christmas and is available every weekend including holidays. We also offer Snowhawks on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. You can always order anything online on our Express Line! Ryders and Slyders is the same great ski & snowboard program as Snowhawks but geared towards children (10) ten to (13) thirteen years of age. Begins the weekend before Christmas and is available every weekend including holidays. We use Burton “Learn to Ride” techniques for snowboarders. Buy everything before you visit at the Express Line!

More information about Snowhawks and Ryders and Slyders. We meet and dismiss the children in the HAWKS NEST located next to the Wonder Carpet Lift area, which is just left of the Ski School Meeting Place. The instructors in both programs are specially trained to make your child’s day at Mohawk an enjoyable one. Their priority is to accommodate each student’s needs, interests and abilities. After the session, we encourage parents to meet with their child’s instructor to discuss their needs and progression. Our aim is to get your child comfortable on the snow and excited to come back and hit the slopes!

If you wish to register and pay for SNOW HAWKS or RYDERS & SLYDERS online prior to your visit you can do so up to 1 day (24 hours) in advance by purchasing all items on our Express line(red counter closet to the door near rentals). You can also fill out the form prior to your visit , download the Waiver and either the Snowhawk (5-9 year olds). or Ryders and Slyders (9-13). form, and Fill them BOTH out, print them and bring all the necessary information to the SNOWHAWK/RYDERS & SLYDERS registration counter (red counter next to rentals) located in the Lower Lodge. If your child has their equipment, please go to the BLUE COUNTER with their form. If they need equipment please go to the RED COUNTER and we will take it from there - it’s that simple!

All preregistration must be completed online through our Express Line by at least 4 pm the day before your program of choice in order for us to process your request.

If you choose not to preregister, we recommend arriving an hour before the lesson time.

Only private lessons can be booked over the phone.
